Company outing to the Bad Kissingen spa

This year's company outing for Sozialdienst katholische Frauen e.V. (Catholic Women's Social Service) took employees and volunteers to Bad Kissingen. The first stop was Burkardus Wohnpark, a residential complex for senior citizens with a restaurant. It is run by Caritas-Einrichtungen gGmbH. Authorised signatory Ralf Grosch welcomed us and gave a brief overview of what the facility has to offer. We were treated to a delicious lunch in the beautiful conservatory. Afterwards, the nearly 30 participants celebrated a joint prayer service in the in-house chapel, which was organised by parish worker Barbara Voll and our managing director Anne Schwalbe.

The bus then took us to the spa gardens in Bad Kissingen. Now it was time to decide: a stroll around the town on our own or a guided tour of the spa facilities. The tour, entitled "From Sissi to Söder", combined historical and contemporary aspects of the spa town in an informative and entertaining way. The more adventurous participants sampled the water from the Racoczy and Pandur fountains – a special experience...

The company outing was an afternoon full of encounters, culture and time spent together outside of everyday life. The day strengthened the bond between full-time and volunteer staff, provided space for personal conversations and shared memories. We look forward to next year!
