The birth of a baby drastically changes your life:
Will I be a good mother, a good father? What does my baby need for its development? How will my relationship with my partner change, and what about my career and finances? Where can I find support?
The aim of the information event is to prepare you for your 'new' everyday life with your baby. You will learn how to respond sensitively to your baby's signals, as this will help your child to form a secure bond with you.
Children who form secure attachments are more self-confident and resilient throughout their lives, learn more easily and are more socially competent.
Findings from modern developmental psychology and infant research form the basis for the content of the course.
