The Catholic Women's Social Service (SkF) in Schweinfurt and the Leopoldina Hospital offer the "Sternentreff" (Star Meeting) for parents who have lost a child during pregnancy, shortly after birth or in the first year of life. The "Sternentreff" is aimed at affected mothers and fathers who would like to talk about their loss in a protected environment.
The group has been in existence for about a year and provides a place where parents can talk about their grief and share their experiences. The meetings are led by Judith Dümler, an experienced grief counsellor and hospital chaplain who helps parents cope with their grief.
The meetings take place every six weeks in the early evening in Schweinfurt. Affected parents are warmly invited to take advantage of this offer.
